Microsoft have reported a 28% drop in their Q2 earnings, largely as a result of delays in the much awaited launch of their new Vista Operating System.Microsoft are also reporting lower sales expectations for the Xbox gaming console too. According to the BBC story:
"... Chris Liddell (Microsoft's CFO) added that Microsoft expected to offset lowered Xbox sales expectations with better sales of higher-margin premium versions of its Windows operating system."
