A staggering 29% of US households do not have Internet access and have no plans to get it in the next year - with 44% of those not interested with anything on the net.A survey debunks the often quoted myth that people who are not online are so because they cannot afford to be - with only 22% of the non adopters living in this camp.
Survey authors Park Associates said:
"Entertainment applications will be the key. If anything will pull in the holdouts, it's going to be applications that make the Internet more akin to pay TV."
