Analogue switchoff ever closer

DigitalSpy tells us that Ofcom are reporting that 90% of cable TV subscribers are now on Digital, with services from Virgin Media, Wight Cable and Wight Cable North (now called Smallworld).

3.36m homes subscribe to the services, and it's a good boost for the government's plans to turn off the analogue signal and auction off the remaining space to the highest bidder.
