Commodore returns

Great news for us computing dinoasaurs! Commodore, maker of the iconic computer of the 1980s - the C64 (of which I had one) - will announce at CeBIT next week that they are to return to the computing industry by launching gaming PCs.

In a report at DigitalSpy, we're told that these will be high specification PCs, and that there will be further information announced in Hannover at the CeBIT show.

I'm more interested in having a classic C64 retro tape drive personally!

Bala Keilman, CEO for Commodore Gaming, said:
"25 years ago, Commodore launched the best selling personal computer of the late 20th Century, the C64, and defined the early computer games experience for millions of people worldwide.

We are privileged and excited to bring the Commodore brand back to the gaming community and mark a new chapter in its history with this exceptional machine.

We're sure that it will deliver what gamers need and want."
