Firefox usage grows

Web user tells us that Mozilla's Firefox browser now has 14.2% share of the browser market and is growing - slowly challenging Microsoft's domination of the browser market with their Internet Explorer browser.

Internet Explorer still accounts for 79.1% of browser usage - however this is down significantly from the 84.7% it was in March 2006, on the back of Firefox's version 2.0 launch and despite the new Internet Explorer 7 browser from the people at Redmond.

20.7% of users to the Web User site were Firefox users in February.
