The Register has found many Fortune 1000 companies sending out spam and phishing attacks due to compromised machines on their network.What was found included Oracle sending out a PayPal phishing scam, and Best Buy who were sending out in excess of 5000 spams. A Best Buy spokesperson said:
"We are repairing it as we speak, and we we're mortified."
