Gaming company goes after P2P users

German games publisher Zuxxez has hired a UK law firm to take on users who are illegally sharing copies of their games via Peer-to-Peer (P2P) file sharing networks such as BitTorrent.

They have already requested customer details from several UK ISPs, and sent letters to file sharers recommending that they pay a £600 fine for sharing the £16.99 game Dream Pinball 3D or face paying fines that could stretch to "tens of thousands of pounds".

It's not as if those doing it are going to have much of a defence.
