Google to help Indian censorship

Google are aiding censorship in India.

The search-and-everything-else giant have done a deal to provide the IP addresses of people posting objectionable content with the Bombay police, to include people using "anti-Indian words" (which sounds like something out of Big Brother).

One local law enforcement official also ominously said:
"I am also going to hold a meeting with all Internet service providers to stress the need to share information. We are also hoping to rope in U Tube in the future"
I mean, we wouldn't want to encourage free speech, would we?
