MIT to put all courses online

Prestigious US educational institute Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is to put the curriculum for all 1,800 courses it has onto the Internet as Open source for all to learn from and use.

This will be completed by the end of this year.
"MIT is eager for the material to be re-used, as long as it is for noncommercial purposes, and whoever re-uses it gives proper citation to the original MIT author as well as to MIT," said Anne Margulies of the MIT.
