Further to the BBC story from yesterday, PC Advisor has delved further into the status of Vista support from Broadband ISPs in the UK.The work that Virgin Media needs to do to get Vista support appears to be with their suppliers - Motive for Installation and Radialpoint for their security software. A spokesperson said:
"This is currently the case with many ISPs. The situation with Virgin Media’s broadband service Vista compatibility isn’t a specific one."Orange, Tiscali and T-Mobile have also reported issues - T-Mobile being the one not mentioned in yesterday's BBC article. T-Mobile's 3G cards aren't compatible with laptops on Vista yet, and Orange are also seeing install problems - with a dedicated page on their website explaining more details.
