Mozilla patching ... again

A bit of an embarrassing one for the people at the Mozilla Foundation, those pioneers of web browser technology.

A security update issued in December (for the Firefox browser, along with their application suite) was itself featuring a critical vulnerability, that would let one of the bad guys get access to an end user's machine.

This has now been patched by Mozilla, and (if you haven't already), you should check that you're running the most up to date version - Firefox downloads can be got from here.

As The Register tells us, the need to patch faulty fixes is a relatively common thing for Microsoft, but uncommon territory for Mozilla.
