Net neutrality

It's been a huge issue in the States, but not yet hit the UK big time - but ZDNet tells us why they believe you should care about Net neutrality.

In the article they state the key reason why this has not been an issue in this country yet:
"Broadband provision is a vastly different market in the States. Most areas in the UK are serviced by many ISPs, creating wide consumer choice. In the US, many areas have a more limited choice, due to mergers between providers and what has been termed a "duopoly" between cable and DSL."
Traffic management by ISPs could yet bring this into focus in the UK.
