Ofcom: More MAC improvements needed

Ofcom has admitted that the fiasco around the ISP Biscit going belly up has shown that more improvements are needed in the Migration Access Code (MAC) process for customers switching between ADSL ISPs.

Speaking to The Register, Ofcom spokesman Simon Bates said candidly of the failures in the MAC system:

"Was it perfect? No. It's been a valuable learning experience."
