A company called
Simplicita is
offering network based phishing protection for the customers of ISPs, which also allows the ISP to monetise the search results that are displayed to an end user should they click on the link in a
phishing scam e-mail - no doubt a good way of allowing them to cover the cost of installing the solution.
This is merely the latest example of the growing trend in the way Internet security must develop in a multi device world - to be in the network rather than relying on client side installations that can cause conflicts and support nightmares.
Who will be the first UK ISP to deploy such a solution to protect their customers?
