Ballmer rapped over Vista experience

Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballmer, who has been rabbiting on quite a lot recently, has been attacked (verbally that is) by the mother of a 13-year-old who tried Windows Vista for 2 days before reverting to XP because of the poor usability of the new operating system.

Ballmer responded to her claims with "Your daughter saw a lot of value". The mother responded "She's 13".

Ballmer said that Vista is bigger than XP, and "for some people that's an issue, and it's not going to get smaller in any significant way in SP1. But machines are constantly getting bigger, and [it's] probably important to remember that as well."

In a classic put down, the mother then added:
"Good, I'll let you come in and install it for me."
