Cisco relegates broadband UK

A report from Cisco has slammed the quality of broadband in the UK, claiming that in quality terms it is below the average of 42 countries throughout Europe, Asia, North and South America.

The company, which clearly has a vested interest in having broadband providers upgrade their networks, states that investment is falling behind comparing the UK to Japan in particular - where a lot has been spent of late.

It's true the quality of UK Braodband good be a lot better, it'd be interesting to see what they think of the quality of our mobile broadband as well, looks like this will becoming all the more popular over the next few years.

The size of fixed / mobile line substitution is going to be fascinating to monitor.
