Microsoft to rebrand and relaunch search

Microsoft have tried many, many times to tackle the dominance of Google in web search - and their latest effort is a re-branding and re-launch of their search engine under a new name of Bing.com.

They are calling the replacement for their Live Search a "decision engine" (sound a little familiar?), with their initial goal being to overtake Yahoo! in the US (Yahoo! has 20% market share, Microsoft 8.2% and Google a whopping 64%).

The site will feature a daily changing backdrop image and Microsoft branding will be much less in your face than on their other websites.
