Gawker is reporting what sounds like very well sourced rumours that AOL, newly spun off from Time Warner, are to buy the tech blog Mashable! - which has become a real bore thanks to its endless lists, however it does still carry some useful social media content.The likely price for the site has yet to be revealed, but it's bound to make its founder - media favourite Pete Cashmore - a fair few bucks no doubt.
