Yahoo! will not be complaining to regulators over Google

Yahoo!'s new chief executive Carol Bartz has had a bit of a dig - presumably unintentional - at their new search partners Microsoft by saying that they don't believe that complaining to antitrust regulators about Google is the right way to tackle their search market dominance:
"I think for the most part the markets work and I'd rather be competitive in the market. The way we've weighed in is we want to combine these markets, so we've already established our point on that."
In contrast, Microsoft are encouraging anyone and everyone to complain about Google's practices - which seems a bit tit-for-tat and something that people have been doing about Microsoft for eons - with three parties having complained to the EC about Google recently. Of those parties one is owned by Microsoft, and another a member of a Microsoft backed organisation.
