Microsoft to patch three Windows holes

Microsoft are set to next week issue two bulletins which will patch three security holes in Windows as part of their Patch Tuesday release of Windows Updates next week - but it will not include fixes for recently exploited vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer (IE).

The updates, which are certainly much toned down in comparison to December's bumper patch of fixes, are for all supported versions of Windows in one case and just for Vista in another.

Microsoft have issued a Security Advisory on the recently exploited IE vulnerabilities.
