McDonald's are one of those companies who are always accused of some of the worst practice - much of it as being a result of them being the highest profile brand in the fast food industry - and a campaign they have run on Twitter has suggested that they need to develop more of a clue stick in dealing with social media if nothing else.The Golden Arches tried to launch a campaign on Twitter using the hashtag #McDStories which they supported with plenty of their own launch content, but it was of little surprise to seasoned social media watchers that it was soon hijacked by pranksters, healthy eating advocates and anti corporate America users on the site.
