Pizza delivery chain Papa Johns has apologised to a customer in New York City and fired one of their employees after they added a racial slur to a Korean American customer's receipt:
The company - whose website has just made this blogger hungry - is naturally grovelling to the customer, who posted the image on Twitter - leading to an influx of so many people trying to order Chinese food from the company that it affected their business. In a post on the company's Facebook page they said:
"We were extremely concerned to learn of the receipt issue in New York.A reporter from the New York Daily News spoke to a manager at the franchise though who said that such terms were often used to identify customers and that they meant no harm - shocking!
This act goes against our company values, and we've confirmed with the franchisee that this matter was addressed immediately."
