Social users engage most on Sundays

ISPs up and down the country will tell you that consumers are online the most on Sundays, and in particular Sunday afternoons when they're bored and generally surfing the web.

Sunday is also the day to engage with brands on social media, going by research from social media brand experts Socialbakers - which would stand to reason if it'd the day of the week when people are most online.

Consumer and electronics goods are the industries in which the trend is most prevalent, with consumers engaging with telecoms brands in particular - a sign that they should both deploy the most engaging content onto social media and staff their social media customer service teams accordingly.
